Izgradnjom novog Regionalnog transfuzijskog centra KBC Split revitalizirati će se brownfield lokacija na području Urbane aglomeracije Split, te će se riješiti problem neadekvatnih uvjeta rada za obavljanje zdravstvene djelatnosti transfuzijske medicine pri KBC Split. Ciljne skupine koje će biti obuhvaćene realizacijom projekta su dobrovoljni darovatelji krvi i krajnji korisnici krvnih pripravaka koji imaju pravo na zdravstvenu zaštitu s naglaskom na efikasnost, sigurnost i kvalitetu usluge, te zaposlenici, stanovnici i posjetitelji Urbane aglomeracije Split, Splitsko dalmatinske županije i šireg područja koje gravitira KBC Split.
