Realizacijom projekta „Izgradnja i opremanje pješačko-biciklističkih staza u Dugom Selu“ izgraditi će se i opremiti ukupno 5.992,43 metra pješačko-biciklističkih staza na širem području centra grada. Uspješna provedba projekta rezultirat će prostorno funkcionalnom integracijom pješačko-biciklističkog prometa, ali i stvaranju uvjeta za multi-modalni prijevoz kroz nadovezivanje biciklističke infrastrukture na javni prijevoz. Provedbom projekta doprinijeti će se boljoj povezanosti na linijama koje služe za dnevne migracije, povećanju sigurnosti biciklista, ali i ostalih sudionika u prometu, te smanjenju negativnog utjecaja na okoliš.
