    Rotor Remetinec predstavlja izuzetno važan pristup cestovnoj mreži TEN-T, no sadašnja verzija je projektirana za gotovo dvostruko manji kapacitet prometa od trenutnog te je najnesigurnije raskrižje u Zagrebu. Cilj rekonstrukcije rotora Remetinec je povećanje njegove protočnosti i sigurnosti, koji će se ostvariti rasterećenjem dijela prometa kružnog toka, odnosno prometa u smjeru istok-zapad te isključenjem mogućnosti preplitanja automobila između prometnih traka u samom kružnom toku.
