Osnovna škola Zvonka Cara smještena je u objektu neadekvatnih konstrukcijskih elemenata u smislu energetske učinkovitosti. Rekonstrukcijom objekta za potrebe škole pridonijet će se poboljšanju uvjeta boravka djece te smanjenju troškova poslovanja. Na objektu se planira provesti mjera toplinske izolacije na vanjske zidove,kosog i ravnog krova zamjena stolarije, strop iznad vanjskog zraka,strop prema tavanu a čime će se postići značajne uštede u potrošnji energije Qh,nd 142.715,37 kWh/a (73,70 %) odnosno sam cilj ovog projekta - povećanje energetske učinkovitosti zgrade.
