Biblioteka bez barier to projekt stawiający za cel wzrost potencjału społecznego i zawodowego społeczności zamieszkującej obszar rewitalizowany Raciborza w trzech krokach: po pierwsze indywidualna aktywizacja uczestników,po wtóre ich integracja ze środowiskiem,także spoza obszaru rewitalizacji,a po trzecie rozwój kompetencji,kwalifikacji i predyspozycji zawodowych.Projekt,realizując program aktywności lokalnej,w oparciu o Gminny Program Rewitalizacji Miasta Racibórz,obejmuje wsparciem w szczególności społeczności niepełnosprawnych i ich najbliższych, seniorów, młodzież i osób bezrobotnych i biernych zawodowo,na podstawie opracowanych ścieżek reintegracji.Projekt obejmuje wsparciem minimum 37 kobiet i 23 mężczyzn z tych środowisk w okresie od 01.09.2019 do 31.08.2021.W projekcie likwidowane są nie tylko bariery techniczne, finansowe i organizacyjne w dostępie do usług aktywnej integracji,ale przede wszystkim mentalne, decydujące o konieczności przeprowadzenia rewitalizacji społecznej.
