The implementation of this project will increase the share of renewable energy in the municipality’s energy balance, contribute to improving air quality by reducing pollution, including CO2 and PM10, and improving the health and economic situation of residents.     Projekt polega na wykonaniu 660 instalacji OZE wytwarzających energię cieplną i/lub elektryczną w budynkach mieszkalnych będących własnością Mieszkańców Gminy Czechowice-Dziedzice. W projekcie przewidziano udzielenie grantów na dostawę i montaż 660 szt. instalacji OZE, w tym instalacji fotowoltaicznych (413 szt.), solarnych (109 szt.), pomp ciepła (powietrzne – 89 szt. i gruntowe – 25 szt.) oraz kotłów na biomasę (24 szt.). Dodatkowo w ramach projektu zapewniony zostanie nadzór inwestorski wraz z koordynacją projektu. Realizacja projektu ma na celu poprawę efektywności energetycznej regionu poprzez rozwój energetyki rozproszonej i prosumenckiej energii odnawialnej. Realizacja przedmiotowego przedsięwzięcia pozwoli na zwiększenie udziału energii odnawialnej w bilansie energetycznym Gminy, przyczyni się do poprawy jakości powietrza dzięki redukcji zanieczyszczeń, w tym CO2 oraz PM10 oraz poprawy sytuacji zdrowotnej i ekonomicznej mieszkańców.
