The aim of the project is to develop and implement an innovative, modular, scalable system for ultrasonic bonding of materials that meets the requirements of Industry 4.0. The need to implement the project stems from the need to develop a new generation of ultrasonic bonding systems and intelligent vibration systems with e-diagnostic functions in the Applicant’s company. The results of the project will enable the Applicant to meet the increasingly exorbitant market requirements, which are reliable and configurable ultrasonic welding systems ensuring high quality, aesthetics and weld strength. These features of the system’s design will be achieved through four innovations: 1) e-management of ultrasonic connection process, 2) electric drive to move vibration system in spot welding 3) stabilisation of the amplitude of mechanical vibrations of sonotrodes in real time by feedback, 4) intelligent vibration system equipped with sensors to read its operating parameters and e-identifier remembering frequency characteristics, the last two being at world level. The implementation of the project was divided into four tasks, the first 3 of which include industrial research carried out by the Applicant and the Industrial Institute of Automation and Measurements PIAP as a subcontractor, and the last task 4 development research carried out by the Contractor. The project starts from Technology Readiness Level II and ends at TRL level IX. The results of the development work will be introduced exclusively to the Applicant’s own business activity. The final recipients of the project’s results will be industrial plants using the technology of ultrasonic combination of materials for production: building materials, medical packaging, personal protective equipment such as dust masks, work clothes, food packaging, components used in the automotive industry. Celem projektu jest opracowanie a następnie wdrożenie innowacyjnego, modułowego, skalowalnego systemu do ultradźwiękowego łączenia materiałów spełniającego wymagania przemysłu 4.0. Konieczność realizacji projektu wynika z potrzeby opracowania w przedsiębiorstwie Wnioskodawcy nowej generacji systemów spajania ultradźwiękowego oraz inteligentnych układów drgających z funkcjami e-diagnostyki. Rezultaty projektu umożliwią Wnioskodawcy spełnienie coraz bardziej wygórowanych wymagań rynku, którymi są niezawodne i konfigurowalne systemy zgrzewania ultradźwiękowego zapewniające wysoką jakość, estetykę i wytrzymałość spoiny. Wyniki prac rozwojowych wprowadzone zostaną wyłącznie do własnej działalności gospodarczej Wnioskodawcy. Końcowymi odbiorcami rezultatów projektu będą zakłady przemysłowe stosujące technologię ultradźwiękowego łączenia materiałów do produkcji: materiałów budowlanych, opakowań medycznych, środków ochrony osobistej jak maski przeciwpyłowe, ubrania robocze, opakowań towarów spożywczych, podzespołów stosowanych w przemyśle samochodowym.
