The aim of the project is to carry out industrial research and development work to develop new genetically modified yeast strains that contain new metabolic pathways that allow carbon-neutral bio-production of ethanol. The technology reached II TRL – the concept of technology was defined, taking as a starting point the modification of metabolism by developing new metabolic pathways in yeast strains adapted to continuous fermentation processes. Ultimately, the technology will reach IX TRL – under real conditions, tests will be carried out on the production process of new yeast strains on an industrial scale suitable for ethanol production. 4 new genetically modified yeast strains will be developed in the course of R & D. They will ensure a significant improvement in the efficiency of the periodic fermentation process by improving the product balance. The strains will reduce the input material needed to obtain the same amount of final product: — GSE1 prk rb- in the order of 15-20 %, – GSE1 rTCA – of the order of 15-20 %, – GSE1 WL- of the order of 15-20 %, – GSE1 HP – of the order of 15-20 %. The project, which will be commercialised, will result in at least one new strain, a breakthrough product innovation worldwide, with unlimited potential to revolutionise the market for yeast biomass, ethanol and biofuels. The developed yeast strain will be dedicated to entities specialising in the production of ethanol, in particular production on an industrial scale. BGW assumes that the main customers will be foreign entities, but the offer will also be directed to the domestic market. Pursuant to Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty Urz. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014. (English) | |||||||||||||||

Technologia osiągnęła II TRL - określono koncepcję technologii, przyjmując za punkt wyjścia modyfikację metabolizmu poprzez opracowanie nowych szlaków metabolicznych w szczepach drożdży przystosowanych do procesów fermentacji ciągłej. Zgodnie z art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz.
