It is a collaborative project that will support the transition to a low-carbon economy. This is done by developing competence and working methods for sustainable development at smaller SMEs and by supporting, developing and strengthening the competitiveness of smaller SMEs by reducing their energy use and climate impact. The project expects to reduce energy consumption by 500 MWh of participating companies during the project period. The goal of the project is a developed and verified methodology for business strategic dialogue where sustainability is the focus as well as action proposals and measures to reduce energy use and climate impact at SMEs. The goal is to be achieved by: Sub-target 1. A developed and verified digital platform that gathers information, methods and tools for implementing business strategic dialogue where sustainability is in focus. Sub-target 2. Conducted dialogue with and coaching at least 35 smaller SMEs that resulted in increased awareness of sustainability issues in a broad perspective, leading to action proposals and measures to reduce energy use and climate impact. Sub-target 3. Regional and national dissemination of the project and its results as well as the availability of the digital platform with its methods and tools for business strategic dialogue. Integrated into working methods and activities to achieve the different goals are sustainability aspects. The project has both goal-formulated sustainability efforts as well as outlined approaches. The project consists of three main areas, a business strategic dialogue, reduced energy use and climate impact, and a digital platform. The primary target group is SMEs with up to 50 employees and the secondary is advisors in business development, energy and climate advice. The project is a continuation of the pre-study Green Driv.
