Projektets övergripande mål är att Västsverige blir en erkänd nod för subsea-verksamhet. Subsea handlar om verksamhet som bedrivs på havsbotten, exempelvis gas- och olje-utvinning, men projektet kan på sikt ge nytta i andra sektorer såsom vindkraft. Målet är konkurrenskraftiga, innovativa och kompetenta företag som samverkar med varandra för att möta beställares behov. Detta kommer ske genom kartläggning av värdekedjan, kontakt med företagen och nätverksaktiviteter för att bygga en branschstruktur. Centralt är att bygga samarbeten mellan små och medelstora företag för att hitta nya marknadsapplikationer och därmed skapa en mindre sårbar marknad. Projektet kommer också arbeta med affärsutveckling av målgruppen genom en seminarieserie. För att sprida insatserna kommer projektet delta i mässor både nationellt och internationellt och även genomföra årliga spridningsseminarium. (Swedish)
