The project will therefore build up the collaboration platform ¿Arena for Green Growth¿. The goal is to strengthen collaboration between SMEs, universities/universities and the public sector, and to develop the ability to commercialise new products, services and solutions that contribute to a more low-carbon economy. The partners will create meeting places for the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Three pilot projects will be carried out, with the theme of food, bioenergy and forest industry. They include seminars, study visits and workshops to support the business community to develop innovations and disseminate knowledge about how companies can work low-carbon. The regional business sector participates through, among other things, the Energy and Environment Centre and the Householding Society. Det övergripande målet med projektet är att uppnå en mer koldioxidsnål ekonomi genom att arbeta strukturerat med innovationsstödjande insatser. Projektet ska därför bygga upp samverkansplattformen ¿Arena för Grön Tillväxt¿. Målet är att stärka samverkan mellan små och medelstora företag, högskola/universitet och offentlig sektor samt utveckla förmågan att kommersialisera nya produkter, tjänster och lösningar som bidrar till en mer koldioxidsnål ekonomi. Samverkansparterna kommer att skapa mötesplatser för utbyte av kunskap och erfarenheter. Tre pilotprojekt kommer genomföras, med tema livsmedel, bioenergi och skogsindustri. De innehåller seminarium, studiebesök och workshops för att stötta näringslivet att utveckla innovationer och sprida kunskap runt hur företag kan arbeta koldioxidsnålt. Det regionala näringslivet medverkar genom bland annat Energi och Miljöcentrum och Hushållningssällskapet. Stora Enso och Signerat Halland är två stora företag som går in med medfinansiering och deltar i projektet. (Swedish)
