The Smart Coding project aims to develop a modern methodology for the teaching of children in pre-school age, early school and school children, using the multifunction device built by LavVision, which is guided by an interactive interface, controlled by traffic and light writing. In particular, the project intends to develop equipment modules that will help to actively exploit the augmented reality mode by combining real world elements with virtual elements. The user will be able to construct algorithms using cardboard blocks containing pictorial instructions. These instructions will serve as instructions for the actual or virtual characters of a robot, e.g. a robot, which will be displayed by a projector on the floor. It is planned to carry out a detailed analysis of the teaching methods already developed and to undertake a project exercise to adapt the best known practices and create new techniques and methods adapted to the working conditions and means of interaction available. The project will give rise to a completely new way for algorithmic education based on the user’s natural interaction with the computer interface. A key point of technology will be the computer algorithms to track the actual elements in the interactive space observed by the video camera. It will also be important for the technology to locate and position a genuine robot robot in virtual spaces. solutions developed within the project and the teaching methods and techniques developed can be used in schools, kindergartens and in various educational workshops for the children of algorithmic education and programming. They will be a new means of education using digital technology and a floor, i.e. the natural space for children to play. (English)

(Polish)
