The main objective of the project is to increase the tourist potential of Żyrardów and Mazowsze by upgrading the unique, historical conservation building of Żyrardów. The revalorisation of the site, combined with the provision of access to its internal accessibility for people with disabilities, the opening of new areas for culture and the creation of a new attractive cultural/educational offer in the facility, will increase the availability of the heritage site and enable the development of the region’s cultural resources. The project will be carried out on the site of the heritage site, which is entered in the Regional Register of Historical Monuments. In addition, the site is located on the premises of the ‘Urban Development Team of the Seorchards of Fabryczna’ registered in the Decision of 30.01.1979 in the Historical Monuments and Monuments Register under No 520. This area was also recognised by the Regulation of the President of the Republic of Poland of 4 January 2012 (Journal of Laws No 11, item 59) for the monument. The main problem is the poor technical condition of the heritage building (a monument partially excluded from use). The existence of this problem does not make it possible to fully exploit the cultural and historical potential of the Jewish population as a unique site connected with the industrial heritage. This undermines the economic development of the region in the new historical and market realities and the image of the city. The project is planned to implement the first phase of the restoration of the heritage conservation building of Żyrardów. Phase I covers the realisation of works in the right box of an existing site. In view of the historic nature of the building, all work will be carried out in accordance with the conservation work programme and the guidelines of the Monuments. The aim of the work is to re-establish the old importance of the site and to adapt its functional premises to the current needs. The project involves a substantial improvement in the accessibility of cultural resources for people with disabilities through the use of a variety of technical/technological solutions. Głównym celem projektu jest zwiększenie potencjału turystycznego Żyrardowa i Mazowsza, poprzez rewaloryzację unikatowego, zabytkowego budynku Ochronki w Żyrardowie. Rewaloryzacja obiektu, w połączeniu z zapewnieniem dostępu do jego wnętrz osobom niepełnosprawnym, udostępnieniem nowych powierzchni na potrzeby kultury oraz stworzeniem w obiekcie nowej, atrakcyjnej oferty kulturalno-edukacyjnej, zwiększy dostępność zabytkowego obiektu oraz pozwoli na rozwój zasobów kulturowy regionu. Projekt realizowany będzie na terenie zabytkowego obiektu, wpisanego do wojewódzkiego rejestru zabytków. Ponadto, obiekt znajduje się na terenie zabytkowego układu urbanistycznego „Zespołu zabudowy Osady Fabrycznej” wpisanego decyzją z dnia 30.01.1979 r. do Rejestru Zabytków pod numerem 520. Obszar ten został również uznany rozporządzeniem Prezydenta RP z 4 stycznia 2012 roku (Dz.U. nr 11, poz. 59) za Pomnik Historii. Głównym problemem jest zły stan techniczny zabytkowego budynku (zabytek częściowo wyłączony z użytkowania). Istnienie powyższego problemu nie pozwala na pełne wykorzystanie potencjału kulturowego i historycznego Żyrardowa, jako unikatowego miejsca związanego z industrialnym dziedzictwem. Powyższe wpływa negatywnie na rozwój gospodarczy regionu w nowych realiach historycznych i rynkowych oraz na wizerunek miasta. W ramach projektu zaplanowano wykonanie I etapu rewaloryzacji zabytkowego budynku Ochronki w Żyrardowie. Etap I obejmuje realizację prac w prawym skrzydle istniejącego obiektu. Z uwagi na zabytkowy charakter budynku, wszystkie prace realizowane będą zgodnie z programem prac konserwatorskich i wytycznymi Konserwatora Zabytków. Zaplanowane prace mają na celu przywrócenie dawnej świetności obiektowi oraz przystosowanie jego pomieszczeń pod względem funkcjonalnym do aktualnych potrzeb. Projekt zakłada istotną poprawę dostępności do zasobów kultury dla osób niepełnosprawnych poprzez zastosowanie różnorodnych rozwiązań technicznych/ technologicznych. (Polish)
