The main objective of the project is ‘Improving air quality and increasing public awareness of renewable energy opportunities through the use of solar and aerothermal energy in the supply of domestic hot water’. This is planned to be achieved by means of measures covering the purchase and assembly of solar and air heat pumps per 35 private residential buildings located in the municipality of Bełecc. Solar installations will be installed in localities: Bełżajc — 24, Brzeziny — 3, Chyże — 5, Skarnik Köln — 1, żyłka — 1, heat pump in m. Bełżewc — 1. The solar installations planned for installation will create a distributed thermal energy production system that will affect the lower use of non-renewable energy, i.e.: natural gas, coal, lignite. The project will achieve result indicators: — Additional capacity for renewable energy production (CI30) — 0.1414 MW -Szazane annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions (CI34) — 422.41 t/year -production of heat from newly built/new generation capacity of installations using RES — 71,20MWt/year, directly from the installation, will be used by the inhabitants of the buildings covered by the project. The solar and pump systems will make use of solar and aerothermal energy in the supply of domestic hot water which will lead to reduced supply costs for hot water supplies, reducing the harmful effects of the heat sources used in their residential buildings on the air quality in the municipality, reducing the amount of energy that will be needed to deliver a sufficient volume of domestic hot water. The final beneficiaries of the project are also the rest of the inhabitants of the Gm. Bełusc, tourists who are visiting the territory of the municipality and businesses operating within the municipality, because the improvement of the quality of the environment increases its attractiveness, both for investors and visitors.     Celem głównym projektu jest "Poprawa jakości powietrza oraz zwiększenie świadomości mieszkańców na temat możliwości pozyskiwania energii ze źródeł odnawialnych poprzez wykorzystanie energii słonecznej i aerotermalnej w procesie dostaw ciepłej wody użytkowej". Osiągnięcie tego celu planowane jest poprzez przeprowadzenie działań obejmujących zakup i montaż zestawów solarnych i powietrznej pompy ciepła na 35 prywatnych budynkach mieszkalnych zlokalizowanych w gminie Bełżec. Instalacje solarne zamontowane zostaną w miejscowościach: Bełżec - 24, Brzeziny - 3, Chyże - 5, Szalenik Kolonia - 1, Żyłka - 1, pompa ciepła w m. Bełżec - 1. Planowane do montażu instalacje solarne stworzą rozproszony system produkcji energii cieplnej, której uzyskanie wpłynie na mniejsze wykorzystanie energii ze źródeł nieodnawialnych tj.: gaz ziemny, węgiel kamienny, węgiel brunatny. Realizacja projektu pozwoli na osiągnięcie wskaźników rezultatu: -Dodatkowa zdolność wytwarzania energii odnawialnej (CI30) - 0,1414MW -Szacowany roczny spadek emisji gazów cieplarnianych (CI34) - 422,41t/rok -Produkcja energii cieplnej z nowo wybudowanych/nowych mocy wytwórczych instalacji wykorzystujących OZE - 71,20MWht/rok Bezpośrednio z instalacji korzystać będą mieszkańcy budynków objętych projektem. Dzięki instalacji solarnej i pompy wykorzystywać będą oni energię słoneczną i aerotermalną w procesie dostaw ciepłej wody użytkowej, co doprowadzi do zmniejszenia kosztów dostaw c.w.u., ograniczenia szkodliwego wpływu źródeł ciepła stosowanych w ich budynkach mieszkalnych na jakość powietrza w gminie, zmniejszenia ilości surowca energetycznego, który będzie potrzebny do dostarczenia odpowiedniej ilości ciepłej wody użytkowej. Odbiorcami projektu w sposób pośredni są także pozostali mieszkańcy Gm. Bełżec, turyści odwiedzający obszar gminy oraz przedsiębiorcy prowadzący działalność na terenie gminy, ponieważ poprawa jakości środowiska zwiększa jego atrakcyjność, zarówno dla inwestorów, jak i dla osób odwiedzających.
