The aim of the project is to increase the production of heat from renewable energy sources in private holdings on the territory of Skierniewice and to achieve cost savings and optimise the cost of consumption. The project meets all the programme objectives and contributes, in particular, to reducing the cost of energy from RES production to private households and thus reducing or reducing the consumption of conventional fuels, and above all to increasing the share of RES in the fuel and energy balance of the Łódzkie region. To this end, an investment is planned consisting of the design and construction of 330 RES installations (the replacement of the heat source on biomass boilers 53 and the construction of solar collectors installations of 2, 3, 4 or 5 flat units — 277 units, hot water heating systems with a system ensuring continuity in the operation of the installation, storage of energy and essential fittings), together in 282 locations. The new sources of heat will produce the necessary amount of energy (heat) for their own use, using the most renewable energy. The project uses and promotes the most efficient and environmentally friendly technologies, appliances and heating installations. The implementation of the project will directly reduce emissions of pollutants (including CO2) into the air. There will be improved air quality, which will affect the comfort of life in Łódź Province and increase social activity. The proposal will respect the principles of universal planning in terms of accessibility, usability and flexibility for disabled people. The project foresees the development of project documentation, the performance of the investor’s oversight function and the promotion of the project. The project will be aimed primarily at the inhabitants of the municipality of Skierniewice. The inhabitants of 282 farms will benefit directly from the project. 1176 people (target group). (English)

(Polish)
