The project involves the R & D work to develop an innovative technology for a mineral/emulsion blend/emulsion (MCE +) technology with an increased modulus of firmness using recycled materials to a layer of sub-construction of a vulnerable nature in the road construction. The aim of the project is to design and produce such a MCE + mixture with the addition of a destruction which will be characterised by an adequate level of fatigue life and fracture. The new MCE + blend will minimise the risk of crack, while maximising the value of the rigidity module in line with the traffic category. The road test sections with a layer of the MCE + blend will be carried out. A fatigue test will be carried out on the test sections in order to determine the characteristics of the fracture performance. The appropriate level of rigidity and the required fatigue life in the CE + blend are planned to be achieved by designing and producing a new kind of asphalt emulsion, naturally aspirated with more hardness asphalt, dedicated to the production of the MCE + blend. The production of the new emulsion will require the use of different emulsifiers from the classical ones used. The harder the retrofitting process, this more difficult the process of emulsification, requires the use of more advanced emulsifiers and the introduction of appropriate technologies to reduce the risk of spontaneous disintegration of the bitumen emulsion. The new MCE + blend will be used both by Eurovia Polska S.A. for road works, as well as for medium-sized and small road companies wishing to increase their competitive advantage by offering road works using a new MCE + blend. Indirect recipients will be the road manager and society as a whole, as the new MCE + blend will enable the road to be longer, and will contribute significantly to improving the quality of the road. Przedmiotem projektu są prace B+R zmierzające do opracowania innowacyjnej technologii mieszanek mineralno-cementowo-emulsyjnych (MCE+) o zwiększonym module sztywności z wykorzystaniem materiałów z recyklingu do warstwy podbudowy o podatnym charakterze pracy w konstrukcji drogowej. Celem projektu jest zaprojektowanie oraz wyprodukowanie takiej mieszanki MCE+ z dodatkiem destruktu, która będzie się charakteryzowała odpowiednim poziomem trwałości zmęczeniowej i odporności na spękania. Nowa mieszanka MCE+ pozwoli zminimalizować ryzyko powstawania spękań, przy jednoczesnym uzyskaniu jak najwyższych wartości modułu sztywności odpowiednio do kategorii ruchu. Następnie, wykonane zostaną odcinki testowe dróg z warstwą podbudowy z mieszanki MCE+. Na odcinkach testowych planuje się przeprowadzenie badań zmęczeniowych, które pozwolą na wyznaczenie charakterystyk określających odporność na wczesne spękanie (charakterystyka inicjacji spękań). Odpowiedni poziomu sztywności oraz wymaganą trwałość zmęczeniową w mieszankach MCE+ planuje się osiągnąć poprzez zaprojektowanie i wyprodukowanie nowego rodzaju emulsji asfaltowej wolnorozpadowej z wykorzystaniem asfaltu o większej twardości, dedykowanej do produkcji mieszanki MCE+. Produkcja nowej emulsji będzie wymagała zastosowania odmiennych emulgatorów od klasycznie stosowanych. Im twardszy asfalt – tym trudniejszy proces emulgacji, co wymaga stosowania bardziej zaawansowanych emulgatorów i wprowadzenia odpowiednich technologii zmniejszających ryzyko samoistnego rozpadu emulsji asfaltowej. Nową mieszankę MCE+ wykorzystywać będzie zarówno Eurovia Polska S.A. podczas realizacji robót drogowych, jak i średnie i małe firmy drogowe, które będą chciały zwiększyć swoją przewagę konkurencyjną, oferując roboty drogowe z wykorzystaniem nowej mieszanki MCE+. Pośrednimi odbiorcami będą zarządcy dróg i szerzej całe społeczeństwo, gdyż nowa mieszanka MCE+ pozwoli wydłużyć żywotność drogi i znacząco przyczyni się do poprawy jakości dróg w Po (Polish)
