The project involves the rehabilitation of railway lines 68 and 565 on the Lublin — Stalowa Wola Rozwadów section and their electrification.Railway lines 68 and 565 are included in the list of railway lines of state importance, but are not covered by AGC and AGTC.Railway line No 68 is an important connection in passenger traffic between the two major urban centres of Eastern Poland.Railway line No 565 is located in Podkarpackie Province in the Stalowa Wola area and serves as a connecting factor between railway line 68 and railway line 74.The railway lines concerned are occupied by passenger and freight traffic.The investment covered by this Project is located in the województwo lubelskie (powiaty:The city of Lublin, Lubelskie, Kraśnicki, Janowski) and Podkarpackie Province (the district of steel).The project involves the extended rehabilitation of lines 68 and 565 (i.e. restoring the original technical lines with the electrification of lines and adapting the infrastructure elements to the needs of persons with reduced mobility).The restoration of the original technical parameters will be achieved in the following areas:• railway line No 68 on the Lublin — Stalowa Wola Rozwadów section from km -0,339 to km 104,043, i.e. 104.382 km long;• railway line No 565, in the section Charzewice — Roadstock freight from km 0,000 to km 0,955, i.e. 0.955 km long.The new overhead contact line will be constructed from km 9,000 to km 101,514 of line 68 and from km 0,000 to km 0,955 of line 565.The scope of the Project covers also the modernisation of the overhead contact line from km 1,627 to km 9,000 of line No 68.The total length of the railway lines covered by the project is 105.337 km, of which only a distance of 2.325 km from km 101,718 to km 104,043 is part of the comprehensive TEN-T network. Projekt obejmuje rehabilitację linii kolejowych nr 68 oraz 565 na odcinku Lublin – Stalowa Wola Rozwadów wraz z ich elektryfikacją. Linie kolejowe nr 68 i 565 są zaliczone do wykazu linii kolejowych znaczenia państwowego, lecz nie są objęte umowami AGC i AGTC. Linia kolejowa nr 68 stanowi ważne połączenie w ruchu pasażerskim pomiędzy dwoma dużymi ośrodkami miejskimi Polski Wschodniej. Linia kolejowa nr 565 zlokalizowana jest w województwie podkarpackim w obszarze miasta Stalowa Wola i pełni rolę łącznicy pomiędzy linią kolejową nr 68 a linią kolejową nr 74. Na przedmiotowych liniach kolejowych prowadzony jest ruch pasażerski i towarowy. Inwestycja objęta niniejszym Projektem zlokalizowana jest w województwie lubelskim (powiaty: Miasto Lublin, lubelski, kraśnicki, janowski) i województwie podkarpackim (powiat stalowowolski). Projekt zakłada rozszerzoną rehabilitację linii nr 68 i 565 (tj. przywrócenie pierwotnych parametrów technicznych linii wraz elektryfikacją oraz dostosowaniem elementów infrastruktury do potrzeb osób o ograniczonej możliwości ruchowej). Przywrócenie pierwotnych parametrów technicznych zostanie zrealizowane w następującym zakresie: • linia kolejowa nr 68 na odcinku Lublin – Stalowa Wola Rozwadów od km -0,339 do km 104,043, tj. na długości 104,382 km; • linia kolejowa nr 565, na odcinku Charzewice – Rozwadów Towarowy od km 0,000 do km 0,955, tj. na długości 0,955 km. Budowa nowej sieci trakcyjnej zostanie zrealizowana na odcinku od km 9,000 do km 101,514 linii nr 68 oraz na odcinku od km 0,000 do km 0,955 linii nr 565. Zakres Projektu obejmuje również modernizację sieci trakcyjnej, na odcinku od km 1,627 do km 9,000 linii nr 68. Łączna długość linii kolejowych objętych Projektem wynosi 105,337 km, z czego jedynie odcinek od km 101,718 do km 104,043 to jest o długości 2,325 km, należy do kompleksowej sieci TEN-T. (Polish)
