    Łączna powierzchnia użytkowa budynku wynosi 22 727,5 m2. Budynek jest użytkowany przez około 870 pracowników. Celem głównym projektu jest poprawa jakości powietrza na terenie miasta stołecznego Warszawy poprzez redukcję zanieczyszczeń emitowanych do atmosfery i zwiększenie efektywności energetycznej budynku. Cel ten zostanie zrealizowany poprzez: 1. Efektywne wykorzystanie energii cieplnej. 2. Obniżenie kosztów ogrzewania obiektów. 3. Poprawę warunków użytkowania obiektów użyteczności publicznej. W wyniku realizacji inwestycji nastąpi poprawa efektywności energetycznej, zmniejszenie rocznego zapotrzebowania na energię zużywaną na potrzeby grzewcze oraz przygotowanie ciepłej wody użytkowej. Poprawa efektywności energetycznej będzie skutkować wygenerowaniem oszczędności w kosztach eksploatacyjnych budynku. Głęboka, kompleksowa termomodernizacja budynku Ministerstwa Rozwoju oznacza przedsięwzięcie wpływające na poprawę efektywności energetycznej budynku, którego przedmiotem jest ulepszenie mające na celu ograniczenie strat energii poprzez: - modernizacje układu wentylacji w salach konferencyjnych A, B, C i D (w tym zastąpienie istniejącego rekuperatora glikolowego typowym rekuperatorem przeciwprądowym o wysokiej sprawności) - ocieplenie stropu nad przejazdami o podcieniami nad parterem budynku, - ocieplenie stropu IV kondygnacji, - kompleksowa modernizacja instalacji c.o, - kompleksowa modernizacja instalacji c.w.u., - wymiana stolarki okiennej, - modernizacja oświetlenia.
