Základním cílem projektu je zlepšení stavu ŽP v dotčeném území. Lokalita prošla několika změnami ve využívání území. Po zrušení vojenské střelnice, jsou pozemky využívány jako pastviny a hospodaří zde myslivecké sdružení. Tato část katastru má potenciál stát se významným prvkem ochrany přírody. Realizace akce navazuje na vypracovaný plán zeleně, který řeší využití území z dlouhodobé perspektivy tak, aby mohlo být celé území nenásilně a postupně začleněno do celkové koncepce ochrany přírody.
