Předmětem projektu je ozelenění několika vybraných a problematických míst v Novém Bydžově v okolí průmyslových areálů v zastavěné ploše města. Cílem je nová výsadba zeleně uvnitř těchto areálů a na jejich okrajích jako významného krajinářského prvku přispívajícího ke snížení negativního vlivu technických staveb a jejich provozu na krajinný prostor a zároveň přispívající ke zlepšení mikroklimatických podmínek pro obyvatele města a ke zvýšení biologické rozmanitosti v místech s chybějící zelení.
