Projekt řeší systém povodňové služby a preventivní povodňové ochrany na území 9 obcí- Hodonín, Veselí nad Moravou , Strážnice,Vnorovy, Petrov, Sudoměřice, Rohatec, Lužice,Mikulčice- a to prostřednictvím vypracování digitálního povodňového plánu obcí, což umožní napojení na digitální povodňový plán ČR a Povodňový informační systém POVIS a dále prostřednictvím vybudování lokálních varovných a systémů dobrovolného svazku obcí a spolupracujících obcí, kdy dojde k jejich modernizaci a rozšíření.
