Hlavním účelem projektu je rozvoj a inovace doktorských studijních oborů v oblasti Bioanalytických technologií. Tato oblast nabývá na významu díky přesahu do mnoha praktických oborů, jako jsou humánní a veterinární medicína, farmakologie či biotechnologie. Příprava vzdělaných odborníků pro výzkum v těchto oborech přitom vyžaduje interdisciplinární přístup zaměřený na získání znalostí moderních biochemických i molekulárně biologických technologií odpovídajících na požadavky současné ekonomiky.
