Předmětem projektu je rozšíření datového centra a modernizace za účelem snížení energetické náročnosti. Stávající chlazení DX jednotkami bude rozšířeno a kombinováno s dalším systémem chlazení. V souvislosti s optimalizací energetické spotřeby budou dále pořízeny nové technologie uložení dat, které nahradí stávající a svou nízkou energetickou spotřebou významně prodlouží období, ve kterém bude celé datové centrum z hlediska chlazení pracovat v režimu s hodnotou PUE blížící se 1. a.
