Předmětem projektu bude na základě vlastního výzkumu a vývoje stanovit optimální materiály a výrobní postupy pro měření automobilových skel. V rámci technologického výzkumu a vývoje bude řešení projektu zaměřeno na výběr vhodných výrobních postupů s využitím progresivních technologií s ohledem na přesnost výroby, kvalitu povrchů, tvarovou rozměrovou přesnost a stálost v závislosti na čase, rychlosti a efektivnost výroby, ale i na bezpečnost práce, kulturu pracovního prostředí a ekologii. a.
