Projekt je zaměřen na podporu odvětví strojírenské výrobní techniky a dosažení dvou cílů: 1) Udržení a posílení konkurenceschopnosti 2) Zvýšení intenzity společných VVI aktivit mezi oborovými podniky a výzkumnými organizacemi. Hlavními nástroji bude realizace 7 aktivit, z nichž nejvýznamnější je technologický foresight úzce svázaný s aktualizací SVA a IAP, spolupráce s ETP MANUFUTURE, zlepšení zapojování ČR do zahraničních projektů a zlepšování podmínek podpory VaV v ČR s vazbou na RIS3. a.
