Projekt polega na rozbudowie/rozwoju jednostki badawczej - centrum badawczo-rozwojowego (CBR) firmy Power-tech w miejscowości Wałcz, poprzez inwestycję w aparaturę, sprzęt i niezbędną infrastrukturę. Głównym zadaniem CBR będzie prowadzenie przez wykwalifikowaną kadrę Wnioskodawcy badań naukowych i prac rozwojowych z zakresu technologii produkcji maszyn laserowych i ich komponentów oraz rozwój związanych z tymi procesami zagadnień technicznych i technologicznych, których efektem będzie tworzenie innowacyjnych produktów i procesów.
