Zakres projektu obejmuje inwestycję związaną ze wzmocnieniem potencjału ratowniczego jednostki OSP w Kaletach poprzez zakup: - łódzi płaskodennej z silnikiem spalinowym oraz przyczepą podłodziową, - lekkiego samochodu ratowniczo – gaśniczego. Realizacja projektu wpłynie na: -Zwiększenie potencjału technicznego jednostek wchodzących w skład Krajowego Systemu Ratowniczo-Gaśniczego na terenie województwa śląskiego, - Wyposażenie jednostki Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej w Kaletach sprzęt niezbędny do przeciwdziałania i usuwania skutków klęsk żywiołowych wywołanymi niekorzystnymi zdarzeniami związanymi z klimatem m.in. powodzi i podtopień, pożarów, erozji. - Szybki i łatwy dostęp do zbiorników wodnych w obrębie obszaru objętego oddziaływaniem jednostki OSP (w razie potrzeby również pozostałego terenu woj. śląskiego). - Sprawne prowadzenie akcji ratowniczych w obrębie zbiorników wodnych.
