This project is part of the Strategic Undertaking Pomeranian Cycling Routes of international importance R-10 and Vistula Cycling Route R-9. The assumption of Strategic Undertaking Pomeranian Cycling Routes is to create the R-10 route running in the corridor of the EuroVelo 10 International Cycling Route R-10 and the Vistula Cycling Route running along the Vistula River and running partly through the EuroVelo 9 route. The main objective of the Project is to: The creation of a modern tourist product, consisting of designing and constructing a cycling route, which will improve the attractiveness of the tourist area and link it to the international cycling route. In total, the project includes the execution of 75.41 km of cycling routes together with accompanying infrastructure, running through the area of 4 communes (Nowy Dwór Gdański, Ostaszewo, Lichnowy, Stegna) located in the area of 2 powiats (nowodworski and Malborski). Projekt niniejszy jest elementem Przedsięwzięcia Strategicznego Pomorskie Trasy Rowerowe o znaczeniu międzynarodowym R-10 i Wiślana Trasa Rowerowa R-9. Założeniem Przedsięwzięcia Strategicznego Pomorskie Trasy Rowerowe jest stworzenie szlaku R-10 biegnącego w korytarzu trasy EuroVelo 10 Międzynarodowej Trasy Rowerowej R-10 oraz Wiślanej Trasy Rowerowej biegnącej wzdłuż rzeki Wisły i przebiegającej częściowo przez korytarz trasy EuroVelo 9. Celem głównym Projektu jest: Stworzenie nowoczesnego produktu turystycznego, polegającego na zaprojektowaniu i wybudowaniu trasy rowerowej co przyczyni się do poprawy atrakcyjności turystycznej obszaru i powiązanie go międzynarodowym szlakiem rowerowym. Łącznie, przedsięwzięcie obejmuje wykonanie 75,41 km tras rowerowych wraz z infrastrukturą towarzyszącą, przebiegających przez obszar 4 gmin (Nowy Dwór Gdański, Ostaszewo, Lichnowy, Stegna) leżących na obszarze 2 powiatów (nowodworski i malborski).
