The project is a response to insufficient preschool infrastructure in the Siemiatycze commune and the low level of preschool education among 3-4 year old children. As part of this project, a part of the building of the Municipal Junior High School in Siemiatycze is planned for the creation of a Municipal Kindergarten. The implementation of the project will contribute to an increase in the number of children involved in preschool education in the municipality of Siemiatycze. Ultimately, within the framework of the project, two preschool branches for children of 3 and 4 years (each 20 persons/department) and auxiliary rooms for additional classes, dressing rooms and sanitary facilities are to be created. A detailed diagnosis of needs and deficits in the area of intervention is presented in the feasibility study annex. In particular, renovation works will concern: — correction of the internal layout of the facility; — replacement of window and door carpentry; — exchange of ceramics in the bathroom, – construction of external stairs with ramp for disabled people; — development of the square in front of the building; — demarcation of parking spaces. A detailed description of the planned activities is included in the attached construction project. The facility will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. Target group: children of preschool age from the municipality of Siemiatycze, parents and caregivers of children, teachers employed in new preschool branches. Project submissions are complementary to those included in the project submitted by the Applicant under measure 3.1.1 Ensuring equal access to high quality pre-school education (the Applicant’s project was positively assessed, in December 2017 a grant agreement was signed). For more information on the complementarity of the project with the project under Action 3.1.1, see the feasibility study annex. Projekt jest odpowiedzią na niewystarczającą infrastrukturę przedszkolną w Gminie Siemiatycze oraz niski stopień edukacji przedszkolnej wśród dzieci 3- 4 letnich. W ramach przedmiotowego projektu zaplanowano przebudowę części budynku Gimnazjum Gminnego w Siemiatyczach na potrzeby utworzenia Przedszkola Gminnego. Realizacja projektu przyczyni się do wzrostu liczby dzieci objętych wychowaniem przedszkolnym na terenie gminy Siemiatycze. Docelowo, w ramach projektu mają powstać dwa oddziały przedszkolne dla dzieci 3 i 4 letnich (po 20 osób/ oddział) oraz sale pomocnicze przeznaczone na zajęcia dodatkowe, szatnie i sanitariaty. Szczegółowa diagnoza potrzeb i deficytów w obszarze interwencji została przedstawiona w załączniku Studium wykonalności. W szczególności prace remontowe będą dotyczyć: - korekty układu wewnętrznego obiektu; - wymiany stolarki okiennej i drzwiowej; - wymiany ceramiki w łazience, - budowy schodów zewnętrznych z pochylnią dla osób niepełnosprawnych; - zagospodarowania placu przed budynkiem; - wytyczenia miejsc postojowych. Dokładny opis zaplanowanych działań ujęty został w załączonym projekcie budowlanym. Obiekt będzie dostosowany do potrzeb osób z niepełnosprawnościami. Grupa docelowa: dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym z terenu gminy Siemiatycze, rodzice i opiekunowie dzieci, nauczyciele zatrudnieni w nowopowstałych oddziałach przedszkolnych. Złożenia projektu są komplementarne wobec działań ujętych w projekcie złożonym przez Wnioskodawcę w ramach działania 3.1.1 Zapewnienie równego dostępu do wysokiej jakości edukacji przedszkolnej (projekt Wnioskodawcy został pozytywnie oceniony, w grudniu 2017 r. podpisano umowę o dofinansowanie). Więcej informacji na temat komplementarności projektu z projektem w ramach działania 3.1.1 znajduje się w załączniku Studium wykonalności.
