Implementation of this project is necessary in order to improve the communication of the entire north-eastern region and the central part of Podkarpackie voivodship with the A4 motorway and national road No. 94. In order to improve the journey of voivodship road No. 987 and make it available to all categories of vehicles, it is necessary to change its course in such a way as to ensure that the railway viaduct in km 133 + 341 of railway line No. 91 is bypassed. As a result of the construction of the new section of DW 987, the transport capacity of this region will increase, improve the liquidity of communication and the availability of entrepreneurs to existing economic zones. The implementation of the investment will also be of great local importance for the City and the Municipality of Sędziszów Młp. — will improve traffic safety and comfort of life of residents exposed to increased traffic on the road with poor surface condition and environmental nuisance (burning, noise). The projected section of the Voivodeship Road No. 987 is a continuation of the construction of a new section of the Voivodeship Road No. 987 implemented within the framework of an agreement concluded with PKP PLK S.A. The scope of the planned investment includes the construction of a section of the DW 987 road after a new track with a length of 0.8 km [class of the G road, carrying capacity of 115kN/axis, width of the road 7 m along with bitumen roads wide. 0.5 m and a wide aggregate. 0.75 m] and construction of a section of the DW 987 road after the trace of the existing communal road (ul. The Grand Duchy of Młp.) with a length of approx. 0.44 km along with the construction of an ordinary intersection with ul. Realizacja niniejszego projektu jest niezbędna w celu poprawy skomunikowania całego regionu północno – wschodniej oraz środkowej części województwa podkarpackiego z autostradą A4 oraz drogą krajową Nr 94. W celu usprawnienia przejazdu drogą wojewódzką nr 987 i udostępnienia jej wszystkim kategoriom pojazdów niezbędna jest zmiana jej przebiegu w sposób zapewniający ominięcie wiaduktu kolejowego w km 133+341 linii kolejowej nr 91. Wskutek budowy nowego odcinka DW 987 zwiększy się przepustowość transportowa tego regionu, poprawi płynność komunikacji oraz dostępność przedsiębiorców do istniejących stref ekonomicznych. Realizacja inwestycji będzie miała również duże znaczenie lokalne dla Miasta i Gminy Sędziszów Młp. – doprowadzi do poprawy bezpieczeństwa ruchu i komfortu życia mieszkańców narażonych do tej pory na wzmożony ruch samochodowy po drodze o nie najlepszym stanie nawierzchni oraz uciążliwości środowiskowe (spaliny, hałas). Projektowany odcinek drogi wojewódzkiej nr 987 jest kontynuacją budowy nowego odcinka drogi wojewódzkiej Nr 987 realizowanej w ramach umowy zawartej z PKP PLK S.A. Zakres planowanej inwestycji obejmuje budowę odcinka drogi DW 987 po nowym śladzie o długości 0,8 km [klasa drogi G, nośność 115kN/oś, szerokość jezdni 7m wraz z poboczami bitumicznymi szer. 0,5m i z kruszywa szer. 0,75m] oraz budowę odcinka drogi DW 987 po śladzie istniejącej drogi gminnej (ul. Księżomost w m. Sędziszów Młp.) o długości ok. 0,44 km wraz z budową skrzyżowania zwykłego z ul. Księżomost oraz ronda jednopasowego (skrzyżowanie z DK94) [klasa drogi G, nośność 115kN/oś]Ponadto przewidziano: budowę/przebudowę odwodnienia drogi, w tym kanalizacji deszczowej, budowę/przebudowę przepustów, wykonanie zjazdów indywidualnych i publicznych, przebudowę/budowę oświetlenia, przebudowę i zabezpieczenie istniejących sieci technicznych, wykonanie oznakowania pionowego i poziomego oraz elementów bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego, budowę chodnika oraz urządzeń ochrony środowiska.
