The project includes the elimination of high-emission heat sources in the municipality of Brzeg and the replacement of existing heat sources for more environmentally friendly types of heating, according to the preferences of residents and a hierarchy resulting from possible environmental effects. According to the hierarchy laid down in the rules of the contest, the connection to the gas and heating networks as many buildings located near the route of the existing networks were considered to be the most justified. The area of implementation of the planned project includes the Municipality of Brzeg. The exchange of heat sources will include, in particular, the following investments: development of technical documentation (for network connections for which such documentation will be required), dismantling/decommissioning an existing boiler, modernisation of the central heating system (replacement or insulation of capacitive elements/replacement/purchase of radiators), for gas connections: construction of the connection, gas cabinet, geodesic service of the investment. Projekt obejmuje likwidację wysokoemisyjnych źródeł ciepła w gminie Brzeg i wymianę istniejących źródeł ciepła na bardziej ekologiczne rodzaje ogrzewania, zgodnie z preferencjami mieszkańców oraz hierarchią wynikającą z możliwych do osiągnięcia efektów ekologicznych. Zgodnie z ustaloną w regulaminie konkursu hierarchią, za najbardziej uzasadnione działanie uznane zostało podłączenie do sieci gazowej oraz ciepłowniczej możliwie dużej liczby budynków zlokalizowanych w pobliżu trasy przebiegu występujących sieci. Obszar wdrożenia planowanego przedsięwzięcia obejmuje Gminę Brzeg. Wymiana źródeł ciepła będzie obejmowała w szczególności następujące inwestycje: opracowanie dokumentacji technicznej (dla podłączeń sieciowych dla których taka dokumentacja będzie wymagana), demontaż / likwidację istniejącego kotła, modernizację układu centralnego ogrzewania (wymiana lub izolacja elementów pojemnościowych / wymiana / zakup grzejników), dla przyłączy gazowych: budowa przyłącza, szafka gazowa, obsługa geodezyjna inwestycji.
