The planned bypass is located in the municipality of Skawina. Projekt obejmuje budowę obwodnicy Skawiny w ciągu drogi wojewódzkiej nr 953 jako drogi klasy G, jednojezdniowej o 2 pasach ruchu, o długości ok. 2,3 km. Planowana obwodnica zlokalizowana jest na terenie gminy Skawina. Początek obwodnicy będzie stanowić włączenie do wylotu z ronda na skrzyżowaniu obwodnicy z DK nr 44 ok. km 2200. Koniec obwodnicy rondo na skrzyżowaniu z DW nr 953.
