Project BC: “Promoting the prevention of colorectal cancer among professionally active people in the Bocheń, Brest, Limanowski and Nowytarskie districts” will be implemented by the District Hospital in Limanowa Im. Divine Mercy, located in Małopolskie Voivodship, in Limanowski County. The aim of the project is to raise awareness of people living, working or learning in the area of the above-mentioned districts in the field of prevention of colon cancers, thereby increasing the number of applications for colon examinations. The objective of the project is in line with Objective 8 of Priority Axis Labour Market ROP WM 2014-2020: Supporting employment in the regional labour market, inter alia, by preventing interruptions of employment for health reasons. The target group of the project consists of professionally active people aged 50-65 years, people aged 40-49 years who have a first-degree relative who has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and people aged 25-49 years from families with hereditary colorectal cancer not related to polypathy (HNPCC) residing, working or learning in the Bochen, Brest, Limanowski and Newtar districts. The project will carry out the following tasks: 1. Information and education activities on prevention of cancerous diseases in the colon, i.e. advertisements in local media and parishes, distribution of information materials and lectures for GPs. 2. The provision of health services in the form of colonoscopic examinations in the opportunistic system (without invitations) together with anesthesia. The implementation of the project will achieve the following results: 1. Increased awareness of the prevention of colorectal cancer among people of working age in the Bocheń, Brest, Limanowski and Newtarski districts. 2. SZPITAL POWIATOWY W LIMANOWEJ IMIENIA MIŁOSIERDZIA BOŻEGO

Projekt pn.: „Promowanie profilaktyki raka jelita grubego wśród osób aktywnych zawodowo na terenie powiatu bocheńskiego, brzeskiego, limanowskiego i nowotarskiego” realizowany będzie przez Szpital Powiatowy w Limanowej Im. Miłosierdzia Bożego, zlokalizowany w województwie małopolskim, w powiecie limanowskim. Celem projektu jest podniesienie świadomości osób aktywnych zawodowo zamieszkujących, pracujących lub uczących się na obszarze ww. powiatów w zakresie profilaktyki nowotworów jelita grubego, a tym samym zwiększenie ilości zgłoszeń na badania kolonoskopowe. Cel projektu jest zgodny z celem 8 Osi priorytetowej Rynek pracy RPO WM 2014-2020: Wsparcie zatrudnienia na regionalnym rynku pracy m. in. poprzez zapobieganie przerywaniu aktywności zawodowej z przyczyn zdrowotnych. Grupę docelową projektu stanowią osoby aktywne zawodowo w wieku 50-65 lat, osoby w wieku 40-49 lat, które mają krewnego pierwszego stopnia, u którego rozpoznano raka jelita grubego oraz osoby w wieku 25-49 lat z rodzin, w których wystąpił dziedziczny rak jelita grubego niezwiązany z polipowatością (HNPCC) zamieszkujące, pracujące lub uczące się na obszarze powiatu bocheńskiego, brzeskiego, limanowskiego i nowotarskiego. W ramach projektu realizowane będą następujące zadania: 1. Działania informacyjno-edukacyjne dot. profilaktyki chorób nowotworowych jelita grubego, tj. ogłoszenia w lokalnych mediach i parafiach, dystrybucja materiałów informacyjnych oraz wykłady dla lekarzy POZ. 2. Świadczenie usług zdrowotnych w postaci badań kolonoskopowych w systemie oportunistycznym (bez zaproszeń) wraz ze znieczuleniem. Realizacja projektu pozwoli na osiągnięcie następujących rezultatów: 1. Wzrost świadomości dotyczącej profilaktyki raka jelita grubego wśród osób w wieku aktywności zawodowej na terenie powiatu bocheńskiego, brzeskiego, limanowskiego i nowotarskiego. 2. Wzrost liczby osób mieszkających, pracujących lub uczących się na obszarze ww. powiatów, które skorzystały z badań profilaktycznych. (Polish)
