The subject of the project is the replacement of equipment and the retrofitting of two operating rooms of the Operational Block in Brzeski Medical Centre. This equipment will be entirely designed and used exclusively for the treatment of civilisation diseases. The aim of the project is to: a) Increasing the degree of adaptation of the Operac Block to the treatment of civilisational diseases, including malignancies, b) improving the quality of diagnosis and efficiency of surgical treatment of civilisation diseases according to the needs resulting from the socio-demographic situation of the region. Among the most serious deficiencies/inconveniences in the operation of the Operational Block in its current form, please indicate: 1. A shortage of specialised equipment, in particular orthopaedic equipment, which would enable effective surgical treatment of diseases caused by civilisation diseases, including malignancies. 2. Significant wear and outdated technology of parts of medical equipment (e.g. arthroscope), 3. The failure of parts of the equipment on the operating unit and the high costs of repairing them, which causes the queue of patients awaiting the procedure and waiting time for surgery (such as the X-ray machine arm C). The overall material scope of the project, which is intended to address the above-mentioned problems, includes: 1. Purchase for Block Op. necessary medical equipment. The project covers both the replacement of the equipment already held by BCM and the purchase of a device that the unit had not previously had – dermatom. Products of the project: Number of medicinal entities supported – 1 pcs. Investment outlays for the purchase of medical equipment – 2 384 432,20 PLN. Number of hospitals supported in the health service programme – 1 pcs. The entire investment will contribute to meeting the needs of the hospital in terms of the need for equipment used in the BCM operating block and is a response to the demographic problems of the Polish Voivodeship. 2. Znaczne zużycie i przestarzała technologia części sprzętu medycznego (m.in. artroskopu), 3.
