The beneficiary of the project "Around the rural homestead. Modernisation and renovation of the cultural landscape presented in the Radom museum" is the Radom Village Museum. The museum has been carrying out many projects aimed at improving the quality of cultural offer for several years: a strategy for promoting the museum was developed, tourist infrastructure and conservation protection were expanded and modernised, and a new educational and recreational offer was developed. The Museum also applies under the Regional Operational Programme of the Mazovian Voivodship for the years 2014-2020 – Priority: Preservation, protection, promotion and development of natural and cultural heritage, the project: “Cultural route in Radom’s open-air museum”. These activities are aimed at creating a tourist product from the museum next to the institution which collects, protects and promotes monuments, which is important in the vicinity of Radom, Mazovia and Poland. These projects shall be created and implemented in relation to the resources of cultural objects located in the institution. The museum as an institution of the open-air type acts as a model of the real picture of life; it is to be a complex and dynamic model, whose exhibits are to be embedded in an environment similar to that in which they were created and served in everyday life of their creators. In order to fulfil this assumption, the museum is built by creating complexes of functionally interconnected historical objects reflecting the history and culture of the southern areas of Mazowieckie voivodship. The most typical complex of buildings is surrounded by orchards, gardens and fields. Homestead dominating the landscape through straw and wooden roofs. In and around it, as in the detained frame, you can see exhibits commemorating human work. In the landscape surrounding the corral apart from the roofs, there are church towers, wind wings and well cranes. (English) | |||||||||||||||

Zagroda dominująca w krajobrazie poprzez słomiane i drewniane dachy. W niej i wokół niej, jak w zatrzymanym kadrze można oglądać eksponaty upamiętniające ludzką pracę. W krajobrazie otaczającym zagrodę oprócz dachów, wybijają się kościelne wieże, wiatraczne skrzydła i żurawie studni. (Polish)
