The aim of the project is to: improving air quality in the municipalities of the south-western part of the WOF. This objective is part of sub-measure 4.3.2 of WM ROPs for the period 2014-2020. The investment is a partner. The project leader is the city of Żyrardów, while Michałowice Municipality, Grodzisk Maz. Municipality, Milanówek Municipality and Podkowa Leśna City and City of Pruszków are Partners. The scope of the project includes the construction of foot-bike lines, bicycle paths, the extension of the existing cycle path to a walking-bike line with lighting, as well as the construction and assembly of accompanying bicycle infrastructure – worlds and parking lots for bicycles, self-service points, separators, stands, slower thresholds and the application of differences in levels. The project is part of the Low Emission Economy Plans of individual communes and will be implemented in areas revitalised by the City of Żyrardów and municipalities: Michałowice, Milanówek and Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The planned system of cycling routes will ensure safe, comfortable, coherent and direct transport connections on the scale of individual municipalities and throughout the WOF area, as well as satisfy the public demand for cycling infrastructure. By reducing the occurrence of congestion and improving the liquidity of the journey, the so-called linear emissions from transport will be minimised. The project will therefore have a positive impact on both the environment and society. The target group of the investment is local residents and other people moving through the WOF area. The length of the existing bicycle paths in the municipalities is 45.62 km. As a result of the project, 1,89 bicycle roads will be rebuilt, and 10.30 km of new bicycle roads will be built. Przedmiot niniejszego projektu stanowi budowa ZSTR celem redukcji emisji zanieczyszczeń powietrza w gminach południowo-zachodniej części WOF. W wyniku realizacji projektu dojdzie do przebudowy 1,89 dróg rowerowych, wybudowania 10,30 km nowych dróg rowerowych. (Polish)
