The need to implement the project results from the needs of the inhabitants of Sosnówka commune who expect support in the field of diversification and reduce the costs and burdens of energy supply and the obligations of local authorities appointed to protect the environment. The project target group shall be the main stakeholders as well as the stakeholders concerned: environment, potential investors and tourists and people considering the municipality as a place of residence. The main objective of the project is to improve the environment by increasing the level of use of renewable energy sources in the municipality of Sosnówka. Key project indicators: 1Increase in the production capacity of renewable energy sources by 0.92 MW 2.An estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions by 166.65 tonnes CO2 equivalent/year 3.Increase in electricity production from newly built RES installations by 8.45 MWhe/year 4.Increase the production of heat from newly built RES installations 468.57 MWht/year The tasks to be implemented are: 1. Purchase and installation of 147 solar installations 2. Purchase and installation of 4 photovoltaic installations 3.Exchange 18 sources of heat 4.Feasibility study 5.Technical documentation 6.WWWWWWW – commissioning of the bookmark on the municipality’s website 7. Purchase of software and equipment for reading data (TIK) 8.Investor supervision 9.Promotion of the project no. 13.06.2016, which plans to increase the use of renewable energy sources through, inter alia, the installation of solar and photovoltaic installations and the exchange of heat sources. The project is compatible with the programme of air protection for the Lublin zone, according to which the municipality of Sosnówka does not belong to areas with detected exceedances of at least one acceptable or target level for substances subject to air quality assessment.     Potrzeba realizacji projektu wynika z potrzeb mieszkańców gminy Sosnówka oczekujących wsparcia w zakresie dywersyfikacji oraz zmniejszenia kosztów i uciążliwości dostaw energii oraz obowiązków władz lokalnych powołanych do ochrony środowiska. Grupę docelową projektu stanowią w/w interesariusze główni, jak również interesariusze przedmiotowi: środowisko naturalne, potencjalni inwestorzy i turyści oraz osoby rozważające gminę jako miejsce zamieszkania. Celem głównym projektu jest poprawa stanu środowiska naturalnego poprzez zwiększenie poziomu wykorzystania odnawialnych źródeł energii na terenie Gminy Sosnówka. Projekt jest zgodny z Programem ochrony powietrza dla strefy lubelskiej, wg którego gmina Sosnówka nie należy do obszarów o stwierdzonych przekroczeniach choćby jednego poziomu dopuszczalnego lub docelowego w odniesieniu do substancji podlegających ocenie jakości powietrza.
