The project includes investment activities aimed at expanding the existing unit with modern machinery and equipment used for researching innovative solutions and services that are not available on the market. The module for processing and characterisation of multi-core fibre components will allow processing of components using isotropic plasma field, providing excellent symmetry and precision of the operations performed, which is a key issue affecting the research of applications of multi-core fibre optics and components based on them.Thanks to the purchase of the module, the Applicant will be able to expand its offer with a number of unique services – services consisting of combining different fibre components; multi-core fibre connection characterisation services with Fan In/Out components; services consisting of processing components, changing their selected optical and mechanical properties.Thanks to the implementation of the project, the following indicators will be achieved: —product indicators: Private investments complementing public support to enterprises (grants) PLN 1 197 000,00; Number of enterprises receiving grants of 1 pieces; Number of enterprises receiving support of 1 units;Number of enterprises investing in R & D activities 1 units;Number of enterprises cooperating with research centres 1 units; Investment outlays for the purchase of scientific and research equipment 3 990 000,00 PLN; Number of research laboratories supported by 1 units; — result indicators: Number of new researchers in supported units of 1 units; Number of enterprises using supported research infrastructure 5 units; Number of R & D projects carried out using supported research infrastructure 8 pieces, Number of researchers working in improved research infrastructure facilities 1 pieces. Moduł do przetwarzania i charakteryzacji wielordzeniowych komponentów światłowodowych umożliwi przetwarzanie komponentów z zastosowaniem izotropowego pola plazmy, zapewniającego doskonałą symetrię oraz precyzję wykonywanych operacji, co jest zagadnieniem mającym kluczowy wpływ na badania zastosowań światłowodów wielordzeniowych i komponentów na nich opartych.Dzięki zakupowi modułu Wnioskodawca będzie mógł poszerzyć swoją ofertę o szereg unikalnych usług - usługi polegające na łączeniu różnych komponentów światłowodowych; usługi charakteryzacji połączenia włókna wielordzeniowego z komponentami typu Fan In/Out; usługi polegające na przetwarzaniu komponentów, zmieniając ich wybrane właściwości optyczne i mechaniczne.Dzięki realizacji projektu zostaną osiągnięte następujące wskaźniki: -wskaźniki produktu: Inwestycje prywatne uzupełniające wsparcie publiczne dla przedsiębiorstw (dotacje) 1 197 000,00 zł; Liczba przedsiębiorstw otrzymujących dotacje 1 szt.; Liczba przedsiębiorstw otrzymujących wsparcie 1 szt.;Liczba przedsiębiorstw ponoszących nakłady inwestycyjne na działalność B+R 1 szt.;Liczba przedsiębiorstw współpracujących z ośrodkami badawczymi 1 szt.; Nakłady inwestycyjne na zakup aparatury naukowo-badawczej 3 990 000,00 zł; Liczba wspartych laboratoriów badawczych 1 szt.; - wskaźniki rezultatu: Liczba nowych naukowców we wspieranych jednostkach 1 szt.; Liczba przedsiębiorstw korzystających ze wspartej infrastruktury badawczej 5 szt.; Liczba projektów B+R realizowanych przy wykorzystaniu wspartej infrastruktury badawczej 8 szt., Liczba naukowców pracujących w ulepszonych obiektach infrastruktury badawczej 1 szt.
