Projekt polega na zakupie średniego samochodu ratowniczo - gaśniczego z funkcją ograniczania stref skażeń chemicznych dla OSP w Janczewie.Ma na celu zwiększenie poziomu bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców Gminy/Powiatu i eliminację zagrożeń dla środowiska naturalnego.Gmina nie otrzymała dotychczas dofinansowania na zakup pojazdu ratowniczo-gaśniczego.Projekt nie został zakwalifikowany do kategorii „dużych projektów” i wpisuje się w założenia „Strategicznego planu adaptacji dla sektorów i obszarów wrażliwych na zmiany klimatu do roku 2020 z perspektywą do roku 2030”. Cel Głowny: zapobieganie zagrożeniom pożarowymi innym zagrożeniom miejscowym i ograniczenie ich skutków,a tym samym podniesienie poziomu bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców Gminy,poprzez zakup samochodu ratowniczo-gaśniczego.Cele szczegółowe:Doposażenie jednostki OSP w Janczewie/zapewnienie odpowiedniej ochrony przed zagrożeniami,Zakup nowoczesnego w pełni wyposażonego średniego samochodu ratowniczo – gaśniczego.Dzięki projektowi nastąpi poprawa skuteczności działań w strefach bezpośredniego zagrożenia poprzez wprowadzenie nowocześniejszych systemów rozpoznawania,zabezpieczania,ograniczania i usuwania zagrożeń chemiczno – ekologicznych. Wzrośnie poczucie bezpieczeństwa osób przebywających na terenie gminy,a także powiatu gorzowskiego.Spadnie czas reakcji na zdarzenia zagrażające życiu i zdrowiu ludzi,środowisku naturalnemu.Osiągnięty mierzalny efekt - doposażenie w nowy sprzęt jednostkę OSP w Janczewie działającej w strukturach Krajowego Systemu Ratowniczo Gaśniczego. Głównym problem OSP w Janczewie- stare samochody,a każdy ma ponad 25 i 40 lat, bez funkcji ograniczania stref skażeń chemicznych.Ich zużycie i awaryjność uniemożliwia pełne reagowanie na zagrożenia.Brak nowoczesnego,niezawodnego średniego samochodu ratowniczo – gaśniczego, który mógłby być wykorzystywany do podejmowania interwencji w trudnym terenie(tereny Puszczy)i na innych ważnych przyrodniczo terenach.
