This investment consists of rebuilding and renovating the ground floor of a multi-family residential building at ul. Mickiewicza 57 in Toruń, which will be dedicated to providing services in the local community – creation of the infrastructure of the Daily House of Stay for the elderly and the disabled. The facility will be able to use 30 people at a time. The investment works concern construction works (external works, e.g. driveway for the disabled and internal works, such as masonry, wall warming from the inside, door and window joinery, partition walls, renovation of ceilings, ceilings and floors, painting), as well as installation works (electrical and teletechnical, central heating, air conditioning, water and sewage equipment and ventilation). It is also planned to equip the facility with the necessary equipment and equipment. The need for investment is due to the insufficient availability of social infrastructure in terms of day-to-day support for dependants, in particular older people. The basis for the project was to analyse the need for infrastructure for the provision of social services, in particular day-to-day support and care for the elderly, resulting from the increasing demographic burden for residents of the country and the region. The planned actions will increase access to social services to support day-to-day elderly and disabled people. The implementation of the project will contribute to the social inclusion of older people, dependents excluded due to age, health and financial situation. The establishment of the daily residence will be a support centre for dependent people, providing all-day care services, specialised care services and activation in the physical, intellectual and social spheres and integration/social activation.
