Celem podstawowym projektu jest zwiększenie potencjału Wnioskodawcy: Polfarmex S.A. do prowadzenia działalności B+R dzięki wsparciu finansowemu Unii Europejskiej przeznaczonemu na inwestycję spółki w infrastrukturę B+R polegającą na rozwoju istniejącego działu B+R w okresie VII 2018 – VI 2019 r. Cel zostanie osiągnięty poprzez realizację jednego zadania „Zakup aparatury naukowo-badawczej dla potrzeb działalności badawczo-rozwojowej Polfarmex S.A. w obszarze czerwonej biotechnologii”, w ramach którego realizowane będą dostawy 9 szt. takiej aparatury. Zakończenie tego zadania umożliwi wnioskodawcy rozpoczęcie badań nad innowacyjnymi grupami leków biologicznych (w tym biopodobnych) - analogów insuliny ludzkiej, zgodnie z przyjętym planem prac B+R prowadzących do wdrożenia przemysłowej produkcji takich leków, które obecnie nie są wytwarzane przez Wnioskodawcę. Osiągnięcie ww. celu wyrażają 2 wskaźniki rezultatu: 1) 1 przedsiębiorstwo korzystające ze wspartej infrastruktury B+R - wspartej w ramach projektu, 2) 1 realizowany plan prac badawczo-rozwojowych przy wykorzystaniu wspartej infrastruktury B+R w nowym obszarze (leki biologiczne). Grupy docelowe projektu obejmują: - Wnioskodawcę, który później jako beneficjent odniesie bezpośrednie korzyści związane ze wsparciem zakupu nowej aparatury badawczej, - Pracowników Wnioskodawcy i współpracowników z ośrodków badawczych, którzy prowadzić będą prace B+R w oparciu o nową aparaturę, - Sektor farmaceutyczny, w ramach którego Wnioskodawca – dzięki realizacji projektu – wyznaczy nowe standardy dla leków przeciwdziałających chorobom metabolicznym (w tym przypadku np. cukrzycy), - Społeczeństwo, a zwłaszcza osoby cierpiące z powodu ww. chorób, dla których nowe leki mogą stanowić szansę złagodzenia skutków choroby. The main objective of the project is to increase the applicant’s potential: Polfarmex S.A. to carry out R & D activities thanks to the financial support of the European Union dedicated to the company’s investment in R & D infrastructure consisting of the development of the existing R & D department in the period VII 2018 – VI 2019. The objective will be achieved by carrying out a single task “Purchase of research and research equipment for the purposes of research and development activities of Polfarmex S.A. in the area of red biotechnology”, within which the supply of 9 pieces of such apparatus will be carried out. Completion of this task will enable the applicant to start research into innovative groups of biological medicines (including biosimilars) – human insulin analogues, in accordance with the agreed R & D work plan leading to the implementation of the industrial production of such medicines which are currently not produced by the Applicant. The achievement of the abovementioned objective is expressed by 2 result indicators: 1) 1 company benefiting from supported R & D infrastructure – supported by the project, 2) 1 implemented R & D work and development plan using supported R & D infrastructure in a new area (biotics). The project target groups shall include: — Applicant, who, later as the beneficiary, will benefit directly from the support of the purchase of new research equipment, – Employees of Applicants and colleagues from research centres, who will carry out R & D work on the basis of new apparatus, – Pharmaceutical sector, under which the Applicant – thanks to the implementation of the project – will set new standards for drugs against metabolic diseases (in this case, diabetes), – Society, and especially those suffering from diseases.
