Cermol’s manufacturing activities are focused on the production of ceramic products made from domestic raw materials such as clay and kaolin. Our offer is aimed at making kitchenware such as jugs, plates, buttermilks, pastries, salt spoons or decorative spoons. We also make containers for bulk materials, as well as so-called. “drinks” – i.e. vessels for drinking water from the spring. Especially the latter product is most popular. Often tourists and curators want to buy souvenirs from their visit to the health resort, choosing drunkards in the form of animals. All our ceramic products are certified by the Polish National Institute of Hygiene and Food which allows them to come into direct contact with food. It takes a lot of time to burn vessels and consumes a lot of energy. However, there are various methods of firing to reduce baking periods and reduce production costs. In this situation, the furnace we own blocks the company’s development opportunities, due to the length of the firing period and the amount of electricity consumed. In order to meet market challenges, it was recognised that innovative solutions would be needed to allow faster execution of orders with energy reduction and waste reduction. We will then achieve an increase in the economic parameters of production due to the reduction of costs (energy saving and material-intensity). The reduction of costs results from the basic parameters of the furnace, i.e. reaching the baking temperature of 1300 °C at the output of 25 kW for the capacity of the firing chamber – 0.546 m³. Without the insulating technology used in the furnace, achieving this temperature would require a power of 64 kW, which doubles the cost of the energy used for production. Considering that the company bakes ceramics daily for 6-8 hours – savings in used power amount to 234 kWh per day, which translates into saving about PLN 2500 months (English)

„pijałki” – czyli naczynia do picia wód zdrojowych. Wszystkie nasze wyroby ceramiczne posiadają Certyfikat Polskiego Państwowego Zakładu Higieny i Żywności dopuszczające je do bezpośredniego kontaktu z żywnością. Bez zastosowanej w piecu technologii izolacyjnej, osiągnięcie takiej temperatury wymagało by mocy 64 kW, co podwaja koszty energii wykorzystywanej do produkcji.
