The aim of the project is to make available in the open access model, in a manner consistent with global standards, a significant part of current Polish scientific publications. It is planned to provide 90 000 scientific articles (including metadata) from over 1,000 Polish scientific journals. 25 000 of these articles will be subject to open licenses, indicating the Creative Commons licenses. For 540 scientific books, which are already available in the “Open Book” collection in the form of scans and PDF files, new versions will be developed in XML, EPUB, MOBI and improved PDF format (scans fully replaced by text elements). The project envisages the creation, implementation and operation of a platform to store and make available the resources covered by it, based on the appropriate modifications of the Infona software, as well as the development of platform resource management software. The project will also include 18 trainings for entities providing scientific publications (publishers and magazine editors). These trainings will be carried out in different towns throughout the country. The participation of people involved in the implementation of the project in conferences organised by other entities is also planned. (English)

Projekt przewiduje stworzenie, wdrożenie i prowadzenie platformy służącej do przechowywania i udostępniania objętych nim zasobów w oparciu o poddane odpowiednim modyfikacjom oprogramowanie Infona, a także opracowanie oprogramowania służącego do zarzadzania zasobami platformy. (Polish)
