This will be done using the existing ICT infrastructure (including free for PIONIER project partners) and RCIN platform, i.e. Digital Repository of Scientific Institutes (www.rcin.org.pl). Activities will include extending the functionality and improving the e-maturity of the RCIN platform and creating the possibility of making available on the Internet, through the RCIN platform, the scientific resources of others. Based on the analysis of the collected statistics, the results of an online survey filled out by RCIN users and interviews with users (see Section 4.2 SW), it is assumed that the OZwRCIN project will have a cross-regional coverage and its target group will be primarily internet users. Among them, there were two main types of users: I. Users of digital content made available through the RCIN portal, including external databases; II. Resource providers, i.e. persons involved in the implementation of the OZwRCIN Project, including both developing services and people preparing new content to be made available. As a result of the project, a number of products will be created, which include: Scientific resources made available on the Internet (see Section 3.5.1 SW), including textual and graphic resources and source data; Extensions of the IT system. RCIN taking into account the identified user needs (see paragraphs 3.4 and 8 SW); The creation or retrofitting of a digitisation workshop and workstations; Training of substantive staff and training of end-users; Project promotion including visual identification, promotional materials, organisation of events and media image building (see Section 7.3 SW). Projekt realizowany będzie przez 16 Partnerów (instytuty naukowe i badawczy). Celem Projektu będzie zwiększenie wolumenu (o 146.107 pozycji), dostępności i wykorzystania ISP udostępnianej na wolnych licencjach, a pochodzącej ze zgromadzonych u 16 Partnerów zasobów nauki oraz dostosowanie realizowanych usług do potrzeb użytkowników, w tym niepełnosprawnych. Nastąpi to z wykorzystaniem istniejącej infrastruktury teleinformatycznej (w tym darmowego dla Partnerów Projektu środowiska PIONIER) i platformy RCIN, tj. Repozytorium Cyfrowego Instytutów Naukowych (www.rcin.org.pl). Działania obejmować będą rozszerzenie funkcjonalności oraz poprawę e-dojrzałości platformy RCIN oraz stworzenie możliwości udostępniania w sieci Internet, poprzez platformę RCIN, zasobów naukowych kolejnych podmiotów. Na bazie analizy zebranych statystyk, wyników ankiety on-line wypełnianej przez użytkowników RCIN oraz wywiadów z użytkownikami (zob.pkt.4.2 SW) zakłada się, że Projekt OZwRCIN będzie miał zasięg ponadregionalny, a jego grupę docelową będą stanowić przede wszystkim internauci. Wśród nich wyróżniono dwa zasadnicze typy użytkowników: I. Użytkownicy zasobów cyfrowych udostępnianych poprzez portal RCIN, w tym zewnętrzne bazy danych; II. Dostarczyciele zasobów, tj. osoby zaangażowane w prace związane z realizacją Projektu OZwRCIN, w tym zarówno rozwijające usługi, jak i osoby przygotowujące nowe treści do udostępnienia. W efekcie Projektu powstanie szereg produktów, które obejmują: Zasoby nauki udostępnione w Internecie (zob.pkt.3.5.1 SW), w tym zasoby tekstowe i graficzne oraz dane źródłowe; Rozszerzenia systemu informat. RCIN z uwzględnieniem zdiagnozowanych potrzeb użytkowników (zob.pkt.3.4 i 8 SW); Powstanie lub doposażenie pracowni digitalizacji i stanowisk pracy; Szkolenia pracowników merytorycznych oraz szkolenia użytkowników końcowych; Promocja Projektu obejmująca identyfikację wizualną, materiały promocyjne, organizację wydarzeń oraz budowanie wizerunku w mediach (zob.pkt.7.3 SW).
