The project consists of implementing a design strategy including recommissioning for further activities. On the basis of the design audit carried out, a number of design problems were found in the analysed areas of the company’s activity. For each area, recommendations were made for further detailed actions aimed at improving the company’s market situation and strengthening its competitiveness through the implementation of design management. The design audit and recommendations of further activities were developed on the basis of the working methodology design thinking, placing the user in the centre of interest and taking into account the technological capabilities, user needs and business objectives of the company. In the context of design management, the company is at the basic level of development today. This applies to both main product categories analysed – wooden doors and steel doors. Although the product range is wide – the company offers numerous design-diversified interior and external door models – it does not fully meet the expectations of customers, especially more demanding and does not fit in with current trends. Recommendations (actions) leading to effective implementation of the model focus on areas: 1. Tenders; 2. The organisational structure; 3. Marketing communication; 4. The business model; 5. Competition and trends. To implement the activities included in the project, it is planned to purchase machines and licenses/software necessary to implement product innovations and advisory services. A prerequisite for the implementation of the project will be to maintain a high level of coherence of objectives and consistency in action and to treat design as an idea for development rather than as designing a single product. Only such an approach gives chances for an effect in the form of higher margins, better-selling products and as a result of increasing the company’s value. (English)

Projekt polega na wdrożeniu strategii wzorniczej z uwzględnieniem rekomedacji do dalszych działań. Na podstawie przeprowadzonego audytu wzorniczego stwierdzono szereg problemów wzorniczych występujących w analizowanych obszarach działalności firmy. W odniesieniu do każdego obszaru stworzono rekomendacje dalszych szczegółowych działań, mających na celu poprawę sytuacji rynkowej firmy oraz wzmocnienie jej konkurencyjności poprzez wdrożenie zarządzania designem. Audyt wzorniczy oraz rekomendacje dalszych działań opracowano w oparciu o metodykę pracy design thinking, stawiającą użytkownika w centrum zainteresowania i uwzględniającą możliwości technologiczne, potrzeby użytkowników i cele biznesowe firmy. Oferty; 2. Struktury organizacyjnej; 3. Komunikacji marketingowej; 4. Modelu biznesowego; 5. Konkurencji i trendach. (Polish)
