Zasadniczą częścią przedsięwzięcia jest budowa drogi ekspresowej S7 na odcinku Koszwały - Elbląg o łącznej długości 39,63 km, która w całości zlokalizowana jest w sieci bazowej TEN-T. Przedmiotowa inwestycja składa się z dwóch zadań projektowych: • Zadanie 1: Koszwały – Nowy Dwór Gdański, • Zadanie 2: Nowy Dwór Gdański - Kazimierzowo. Początek przedmiotowej inwestycji zlokalizowany jest na końcu Obwodnicy Południowej miasta Gdańska w km 17+482,61. Przebieg trasy zaprojektowano częściowo po nowym śladzie (szczegóły przedstawiono w RSW, rozdział 1.3.1.), koniec przedmiotowej inwestycji zlokalizowano w km 57+116,45, za węzłem Elbląg Zachód (obecnie: Kazimierzowo). Projekt będzie realizowany w systemie tradycyjnym. Droga ekspresowa S7 na odcinku Gdańsk – Elbląg stanowi element transeuropejskich sieci transportowych i jest zlokalizowana w bazowym korytarzu paneuropejskim TEN-T (Morze Bałtyckie – Morze Adriatyckie, Gdańsk – Warszawa - Katowice) zgodnie z Rozporządzeniem UE 1315/2013. The main part of the project is the construction of the S7 expressway on the Koszwali – Elbląg section with a total length of 39.63 km, which is entirely located in the TEN-T core network. This investment consists of two project tasks: • Task 1: Koszwali – Nowy Dwór Gdański, • Task 2: Nowy Dwór Gdański – Kazimierzowo. The beginning of this investment is located at the end of the Gdańsk Ring Road in km 17 + 482,61. The route was designed partly on a new track (for details see RSW, section 1.3.1.), the end of the investment was located in km 57 + 116.45, behind Elbląg West (currently: “Kazimirowo”. The project will be implemented in a traditional system. The S7 expressway between Gdańsk and Elbląg is part of the trans-European transport networks and is located in the core pan-European corridor TEN-T (Baltic Sea – Adriatic Sea, Gdańsk – Warsaw – Katowice) in accordance with EU Regulation 1315/2013.
