The aim of the project is to significantly improve the services offered by Poczta Polska S.A. through the use of modern contactless passive radio identification techniques in the conditions of implementation of large-scale expedition and distribution processes within the company’s extensive distribution network. The means to achieve the objective will be to carry out research, which will result in new expedition and dismantling processes used by pilots in the mail distribution network and taking into account the use of specific radio identification techniques. The new solution will make a significant improvement/modernisation of the company’s courier services, especially in the field of pallet and parcel logistics, which is crucial for the company in the context of dynamic growth of the e-commerce market. The results of the project derive from key research areas and tasks. A process analysis of AS-IS, modelling and designing and simulation of new logistics processes carried out at different levels of packaging hierarchy is planned. The final result of the works will be new or/or significantly improved expedition and resolution processes, taking into account the application of new RFID technological solutions. Comparative studies of selected RFID solutions in laboratory and real conditions will then be carried out, as well as studies on the effectiveness of identification processes in multiple systems in static states and dynamic localisation changes in dense environments. The work will result in a report constituting „ know-how consortiums in the selection and implementation of specific identification solutions used on selected logistics units. The final stages of the work will be the development of a prototype of a distributed distribution network using selected solutions (English) | |||||||||||||||

Celem projektu jest znaczące usprawnienie usług oferowanych przez Pocztę Polską S.A. dzięki zastosowaniu nowoczesnych technik bezstykowej pasywnej identyfikacji radiowej w warunkach realizacji wielkoskalowych procesów ekspedycyjno-rozdzielczych w ramach rozbudowanej sieci dystrybucyjnej firmy. Środkiem do realizacji celu będzie przeprowadzenie badań, których rezultatem będą nowe procesy ekspedycyjno-rozdzielcze zastosowane pilotowo w sieci dystrybucji przesyłek pocztowych i uwzględniające wykorzystanie określonych technik identyfikacji radiowej. Rezultaty projektu wynikają z kluczowych obszarów badawczych i zadań. Efektem prac będzie raport stanowiący „know-how” konsorcjantów w zakresie doboru i implementacji konkretnych rozwiązań identyfikacyjnych zastosowanych na wybranych jednostkach logistycznych. Ostatnimi etapami prac będzie opracowanie prototypu rozproszonej sieci dystrybucyjnej wykorzystującej wybrane rozwiązani (Polish)
