Projekt dotyczy kompleksowej głębokiej termomodernizacji budynków biurowo-laboratoryjnych LS, S8, T i TA oraz T3. Instytutu Lotnictwa. Cele, jakie w ramach Projektu zrealizuje Wnioskodawca to: Cel główny: zwiększenie efektywności energetycznej budynków Instytutu Lotnictwa w Warszawie Cele szczegółowe: - zmniejszenie kosztów eksploatacji budynków Instytutu Lotnictwa, dzięki oszczędności energii elektrycznej i cieplnej; - zmniejszenie zużycia energii końcowej i pierwotnej, potrzebnej do ogrzewania infrastruktury Instytutu; - wzrost czystości powietrza w otoczeniu budynków, poprzez redukcję emisji gazów cieplarnianych; - poprawa jakości korzystania z infrastruktury publicznej – poprawa komfortu pracy i przebywania w budynkach.
