The SpeedUp Brigde Alfa project assumes the creation of a highly specialised capital fund, whose investment strategy will allow the development of high-tech and innovative ICT projects in the development phase of Proof of Principle and Proof of Concept. SpeedUp Brigde Alfa’s mission is to acquire, verify and validate projects originating from the Polish academic community, implementing product and process innovations, directly based on high-tech applications. The idea behind the fund’s operation is to support innovative ideas of the information technology sector from the creation of an effective deal flow, using the market-pull mechanism, to building the value of the portfolio companies created and intensive assistance on the way to commercialisation, significantly going beyond capital support. The fund’s strategy assumes active involvement in the development of ideas covering mainly Hardware Technologies, Software Technologies, Computer-Human Interfaces, Machine2Machine Interfaces, in line with selected leading KIS 15. Furthermore, the activities undertaken by the fund will be consistent with the goal of 1.3.1, namely the development of the network of investment vehicles in the form of funds financing the phase of Proof of Concept, whose task is to verify and validate R & D projects, which are in the PreSeed phase. The fund team will actively acquire, verify and validate R & D projects with high commercialisation and investment potential, which will contribute to filling the supply gap of technological and life science projects on the investment market in Poland. Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art. 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. UE L 187/1 z 26.06.2014). Projekt SpeedUp BRIgde Alfa zakłada stworzenie silnie wyspecjalizowane funduszu kapitałowego, którego strategia inwestycyjna pozwoli na rozwój wysoko technologicznych i innowacyjnych projektów branży ICT w fazie rozwoju Proof of Principle i Proof of Concept. Misją funduszu SpeedUp BRIgde Alfa jest pozyskanie, weryfikacja i walidacja projektów wywodzących się z polskiego środowiska akademickiego, realizujących produktowe oraz procesowe innowacje, bezpośrednio oparte o aplikacje zaawansowanych technologii. Ideą działania funduszu jest wsparcie nowatorskich pomysłów sektora technologii informacyjnych począwszy od stworzenia efektywnego deal flow, wykorzystującego mechanizm market-pull aż do o budowania wartości powstałych spółek portfelowych i intensywną pomoc w drodze do komercjalizacji, znacząco wykraczającą poza wsparcie kapitałowe. Strategia funduszu zakłada aktywne zaangażowanie w rozwój pomysłów obejmujących przede wszystkim zagadnienia Hardware Technologies, Software Technologies, Computer-Human Interfaces, Machine2Machine Interfaces, zgodne z wybraną wiodącą KIS 15. Ponadto, działania podejmowane przez fundusz będą zgodne z celem działania 1.3.1, jakim jest rozwój sieci wehikułów inwestycyjnych w postaci funduszy finansujących fazę Proof of Concept, których zadaniem jest weryfikacja i walidacja projektów B+R, które znajdują się w fazie preseed.
