The project responds to the problem of construction and demolition waste, which is one of the largest waste streams in Europe and the existing technical constraints that do not allow it to be fully processed. It concerns the development and testing of the proprietary technology of comprehensive management of building debris grain fractions separated from the total mass of demolition waste and selection of the method of purification of thick fractions. The planned research part of the project includes comprehensive development of all material fractions obtained from debris. Testing of coarse grain fractions will be aimed at assessing their suitability as an alternative aggregate for high-strength construction concrete that meets the requirements of PN EN standard. The second challenge will be the development of small fractions. At present, they are treated as a low-use waste material. The study assumes that these fractions can be used as: a wholesome component of the raw material bearing for the production of Portland clinker, heavy metal sorbent and other impurities in the aquatic environment; sorbent acidic impurities for the treatment of industrial waste gases; hydraulically active component of building mortar; materials for antacid industrial waste water; This will increase the use of secondary raw materials, which are currently minimally used in industry. In the case of raw materials such as building debris, slabs and plaster mortars for re-use, it is necessary to sort them and appropriate fragmentation. The applicant shall have the experience, technical and personnel resources to implement the project. As part of subcontracting, the involvement of the scientific unit is planned. The funding will contribute to the implementation of technology, which will result in improving the competitiveness of the Polish economy. (English) | |||||||||||||||

Dotyczy opracowania i przetestowania autorskiej technologii kompleksowego zagospodarowania frakcji ziarnowych gruzu budowlanego wydzielonego z całkowitej masy odpadów rozbiórkowych oraz doboru sposobu oczyszczania grubych frakcji. Wnioskodawca posiada doświadczenie, zasoby techniczne i kadrowe do realizacji projektu. W ramach podwykonawstwa planowane jest zaangażowanie jednostki naukowej. Dofinansowanie przyczyni się do wdrożenia technologii, której efektem będzie poprawa konkurencyjności polskiej gospodarki. (Polish)
